Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to deliver end-to-end electrical engineering solutions across power distribution, instrumentation, and controls. You will work with a small, high-impact team on integration and refurbishment tasks within the Engines division.

The role requires 3+ years of electrical engineering experience, familiarity with LOTO and safety practices, and strong communication skills. Collaboration with operations, manufacturing, and test teams is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience with low- and medium-voltage systems including analyses.
  • Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and de-energization procedures.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, analyze, and implement electrical engineering solutions across power distribution, motor/generator systems, instrumentation, and controls.
  • Serve as a technical contributor on a small team with broad scope and shifting priorities.
  • Interface with operations, manufacturing, test, and partners to gather requirements and align on solutions.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on electrical and electromechanical systems.
  • Document designs and decisions to support traceability and configuration control.
