Job summary

RTX is seeking an Airborne RF Electronics Electrical Engineer to join the Onsite team in McKinney, TX. You will troubleshoot CCAs, modules, and test sets, interpret schematics, and support production and sustainment across analog, digital, RF, and power domains.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, analyze test data for compliance, and provide daily onsite technical support in a high‑mix lab. A Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 2 years of relevant electronics experience are required,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and evidenced ability to work with electronics and electrical circuits.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience and ability to isolate failures to root cause.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with lab equipment such as multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
• Experience on a production program or manufacturing operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and isolate failures to root cause on CCAs, modules, components, and test sets.
• Address issues across analog, digital, RF, power, and software interfaces.
• Resolve hardware and process issues in production and sustainment.
• Interpret and apply schematics, assembly drawings, wire lists, and parts lists.
• Analyze production test data to verify specs and identify anomalies or trends.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to maintain schedules and drive improvements.
• Provide daily onsite technical support in a high‑mix production and lab environment.
