Job summary

RTX in McKinney, Texas, is seeking entry-level Systems Engineers to join the Advanced Airborne RF Sensors team. You will help integrate hardware and software, develop test plans, and verify system requirements as part of the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate across disciplines, support radar mode development, and assist in deployment, testing, and flight-testing using MBSE and Agile methods. Onsite in North Texas with travel up to 20% possible.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
• Experience with data analysis using MATLAB or Python.
• Experience troubleshooting electronics with common test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.).
• Experience with Radar or RF engineering is a plus.
• Experience with telemetry data collection and real-time monitoring is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, or Troubleshoot Test activities in labs, in the field, or at a Depot facility.
• Support qualification of products and troubleshooting with engineering teams.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement minor design changes.
• Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to stakeholders.
• Maintain engineering specifications, drawings and databases.
