The role focuses on electrical design codes, industry standards and company specifications, liaising with Project Execution, Transmission and Shared Services to ensure design deliverables meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Professional Engineering designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical project scope, schedule, cost estimates, and execution plans.
• Ensure electrical facilities comply with regulations, codes and corporate standards.
• Support third-party design deliverables within budget and schedule.
• Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, reports and BOMs.
• Review vendor quotations and support procurement with Supply Chain.
• Provide technical support to Construction during construction phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and support department initiatives.
• Ensure scope definitions comply with regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements.
• Assist peers to facilitate business initiatives and legal compliance.
