Job summary

The Planet Group in Houston is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and integrate electrical components into devices and equipment, while performing quality checks to uphold product standards.

You will provide electrical engineering expertise for compressor station expansion and maintenance projects, guide design codes and equipment specs, and work with Project Execution, Transmission, Operations, Construction, and Supply Chain to ensure requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills.

Responsibilities

• The Electrical Engineer provides electrical engineering expertise for compressor station expansion and maintenance capital projects executed by third-party engineering firms.
• This role provides technical guidance related to electrical design codes, industry standards, company standards, and equipment specifications.
• The Electrical Engineer works closely with Project Execution, Transmission, Operations, Construction, Supply Chain, and other internal teams to ensure project requirements are incorporated into engineering designs and successfully executed.
