HFA is an employee-owned multidisciplinary architectural, engineering, and interior architecture firm expanding its electrical design team. The Electrical Engineer II leads electrical designs for small to medium projects, applying strong expertise in power and lighting design, NEC compliance, and national standards with minimal oversight.

This role collaborates with clients and multidisciplinary teams, performs advanced calculations, develops construction documents, and manages budgets.

Qualifications

• Requires strong expertise in power and lighting design and NEC compliance.
• Experience applying energy codes and national standards with minimal oversight.
• Leadership in client-facing projects and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical designs for small to medium projects and portions of larger projects.
• Perform advanced calculations and quality control on designs.
• Develop construction documents and specifications, manage budgets.
• Potentially serve as Engineer of Record on select projects with approval.
• Mentor less experienced staff and train on company standards.
