Qualifications

• Designer will develop and draft construction documents for most project types.
• Independently develop and implement construction documents for most project types.
• Apply NEC and other national standards to simple projects with minimal oversight.
• Understand energy codes and apply to power and lighting design with oversight.
• Understand photometric calculations and select lighting systems and controls for simple projects.

Responsibilities

• Designer will work with Electrical Engineer and/or Electrical Design lead to communicate with client, deliver completed construction documents, and assist in construction administration as required for most project types.
• Designer should independently develop, implement, and draft construction documents for most project types, or major portions, and solve design challenges.
• Apply NEC and other national standards to simple projects with minimal oversight.
• Understand energy codes and apply to power and lighting design with oversight.
• Understand photometric calculations and select lighting systems and controls for simple projects.
