Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot embedded electronic systems for mid-complexity projects. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver cost-effective, manufacturable designs from concept through release.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred) and 2+ years of experience in embedded hardware, with hands-on skills in schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in electrical or embedded hardware design, validation or related role.
• Experience with embedded systems, analog and digital circuit design, PCBA design and verification.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot embedded electronic hardware and firmware for low-to-mid-complexity projects.
• Develop analog and digital circuits including microcontrollers, power supplies, sensors, and interfaces.
• Create and review schematics, support PCB layout, perform circuit simulations, ensure signal integrity and manufacturability.
• Develop requirements, test plans, and test cases for components and boards.
• Collaborate with global teams, suppliers, and program managers to deliver robust designs.
