Job summary

Welbilt's New Albany, IN facility is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and improve electrical and electromechanical products for commercial foodservice equipment. You will work on hardware and embedded software integration, applying engineering principles to deliver reliable, cost-efficient solutions.

Under supervision, you’ll lead design verification, perform analyses, maintain documentation, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Management to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience designing electrical/electromechanical products for manufacturing.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve electrical/electromechanical systems for commercial equipment.
• Perform tests, analyses, verification, and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
• Maintain documentation including schematics, BOMs, and change records.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Service, and Product Management on launches and issues.
