ITW Food Equipment Group in Troy, AL, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Vulcan NPD team. You will design electrical systems, select components, validate products, and coordinate with global software teams to translate U.S. requirements into clear software specs.

The role emphasizes hardware/software integration, programming PLCs, and ensuring UL/Energy Star compliance. This is a hands-on, collaborative position in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• BS in electrical engineering with at least 5 years of experience.
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and systems thinking.
• Experience with embedded controls or software-development teams.
• Familiarity with software issue-tracking/version-control tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Ability to design and validate control and power supply circuits for equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and validate electrical and electromechanical devices and systems.
• Program PLC-controlled lab and test setups.
• Coordinate development with internal teams and suppliers to meet timelines and costs.
• Collaborate with design to develop installation, setup and operation manuals.
• Manage UL, Energy Star and state-level compliance activities.
