Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense Maritime is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, model, and test advanced electronic circuits and subsystems in a defense manufacturing environment. You will create schematics, support PCB layout, and perform rigorous analysis using SPICE and MATLAB, while contributing to risk and failure analyses and supporting cross-functional teams.

The role may involve travel for product field tests and requires the ability to obtain and maintain U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in electrical design engineering.
Experience with simulation (LTSpice or equivalent) and MATLAB preferred.
Experience with microcontrollers, DSPs, and FPGAs.
Experience generating electrical design documentation and technical reports.

Responsibilities

Design, model, simulate, and test complex electronic circuits, subsystems, and systems.
Create schematic drawings and support PCB design, layout, and routing; prepare documentation for engineering and manufacturing as required.
Support analyses with SPICE programs and MATLAB.
Identify and select electrical components based on design requirements.
Plan and execute product or sub-assembly tests; conduct complex in-house tests.
Lead and mentor other engineers; present to customers, suppliers, or vendors.
