Job summary

Global Ordnance LLC in Florida seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, integrate, and support electrical subsystems for advanced defense weapon systems from prototype to production readiness.

You will collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure MIL-STD compliance and ITAR adherence while guiding testing and documentation. This on-site role requires up to 30% travel and a strong background in ruggedized systems for harsh environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of defense/electrical engineering experience.
• ITAR authorization or US person status required.
• Willing to travel 25-30% internationally and domestically.
• On-site work in Tampa Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and support electrical subsystems for defense weapon systems.
• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ICDs.
• Ensure compliance with MIL-STD, ITAR and Government TDPs.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software teams.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and production readiness.
