Belvac, located in Lynchburg, Virginia, is seeking an Electrical Engineer responsible for designing and implementing electrical control systems for their machinery. The ideal candidate will have a BSEE or equivalent and four years of experience in engineering, preferably in machine manufacturing.
Proficiency in Rockwell Automation PLC and HMI programming is required. The position is onsite and includes comprehensive benefits such as a 401(k) plan, medical insurance, and paid time off.

Responsible for the electrical Design, Issue & Implementation of electrical control systems of all products under the Standard Product umbrella. Performs diversified electrical machine design and controls on new or improvements/adaptations to existing machines with limited supervision.
BSEE or equivalent 4-year experience in related field.
Four years of experience in Engineering field, preferably in machine manufacturing and controls of high-speed machinery. Proficiency in Rockwell Automation PLC and HMI programming is required. Siemen TIA Portal programming is a definite plus. Specific experience in rotary machinery or high-speed packaging machinery is beneficial. Must be proficient in AutoCad R13 (or later), and ISO 9001. Must have good technical written and verbal communication skills. Must be capable of using typical Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of CE (European Safety Standards) is a plus.
