Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service is seeking an electrical engineering professional to serve as a consultant on design aspects of major projects and to sustain ICBM electrical power system infrastructure.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical engineering, coordination with multiple DoD levels, and a preference for a Professional Engineer (PE) and ABET-accredited degrees. You will contribute to policy guidance and maintain expansive engineering drawings and data libraries.

Qualifications

• Professional knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, principles, practices.
• Experience with systems/facilities engineering for electrical power systems design and infrastructure sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an electrical engineering consultant on all design aspects of assigned projects.
• Review technical requirements and adequacy of design criteria for electrical power, lighting, and distribution.
• Coordinate with System Program Offices, MAJCOM, and installation maintenance leadership to inform ICBM power system sustainment and maintenance.
• Author and edit official Air Force technical data for ICBM electrical and facility infrastructure; maintain configuration control.
