Job summary

Blue Origin seeks early-career engineers for Direct Hire or the New Graduate Rotation Program across multiple business units, including avionics hardware, software, hardware-in-the-loop, and systems engineering, all within a safety-first culture of collaboration and inclusion.

You should have a BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or CS, be able to start Fall 2027, and have CAD experience (AutoCAD) and ability to read drawings. Primary locations: Kent, WA; Los Angeles, CA; Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or CS, or equivalent.
• Graduated within the last year and able to start by Fall 2027.
• Experience with avionics hardware, software, hardware-in-the-loop, etc.
• CAD software (AutoCAD) and reading engineering drawings.
• Internship/co-op or hands-on experience demonstrating technical skills and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Work may involve applied electronics and electrical engineering including avionics hardware, software, hardware-in-the-loop, instrumentation & controls, and systems engineering.
• Specific duties are subject to business unit objectives.
• Enforce safety policies during test planning and operations.
