Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is hiring an entry-level Engineer I to learn and develop competency under an engineering team lead. You will provide technical design and engineering support for electrical projects, including PV, DG, BESS, and MV systems, under supervision.

You will collaborate with multiple teams, develop single-line diagrams, model short circuits, and assist with feeder schedules and field surveys. Rosendin offers ESOP and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Currently pursuing Engineering in Training per NCEES.
• Ability to learn analytic programs for short circuits and coordination.
• Experience with AutoCAD and energy systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering design and consultation under supervision.
• Develop power diagrams and model short circuits and protection coordination.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, and field teams.
• Prepare designs for PV, DG, BESS, and MV systems.
• Assist with feeder schedules and energy modeling.
• Review plans, specs, contracts, and estimates with senior engineers.
• Visit job sites for field surveys and data collection.
• Support senior engineers with construction updates and design interpretations.
