Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related discipline.

• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs of electric master system plans and facility power systems under direct supervision.
• Perform studies of power systems and electrical calculations for basic complexity projects.
• Assist with selection and specification of electrical components (e.g., motor control centers, switchgears, transformers).
• Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Ensure that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.
• Update design requirements as necessary.
• Contribute to the firm's technical knowledge base with white papers and design documentation.
• Submit technical papers for publishing to technical journals.
• Perform other duties as required.
• May create or collaborate on posters or presentations for conferences.
