Job summary

RTX seeks a seasoned Electrical Engineer to design, test, and support high-reliability subsystems for defense applications. Based onsite in Tucson, you will work on CCAs, GPS/IMU interfaces, and RF/microwave digital electronics as part of a multidisciplinary team.

A U.S. security clearance is required; DoD Secret; candidates must be a U.S. citizen. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a structured career path within RTX's Hardware Electrical Engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience or coursework in RF, Microwave, Analog/Digital, Mixed Signal, or PCB design.
• Experience with lab test and measurement equipment to test hardware and measure signals.
• Experience may come from work, school projects, or research.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and analyze electrical subsystems and CCAs across mission architectures.
• Support guidance electronics development, integration, test, and GPS/IMU interfaces.
• Perform system- and circuit-level analysis, simulations, and component evaluations.
• Hands-on integration, characterization, and troubleshooting in lab/production settings.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and documentation of design data packages.
