Job summary

RTX in Portsmouth, RI, seeks an Electrical Engineer with expertise in analog, digital, and mixed-signal design, plus embedded software and GUI tool development. A current DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required to work on critical DoD programs.

You will contribute to hardware design, program planning, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination with Engineering and Program Leadership, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience in Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, and Fiber Optics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design for Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, fiber optics, FPGAs, and software design including embedded software and GUI design.
• Plan and manage requirements and schedules; define goals, scope, and deliverables; monitor progress and mitigate risks.
• Act as primary contact for updates and communicate with Engineering and Program leadership.
