Interstates in Colorado is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to assist with design and documentation for electrical, controls, and related systems on projects. You will work with project leaders to deliver design concepts and support site visits as needed.

This entry-level role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited) and 0–3 years of experience, with NEC knowledge and familiarity with drafting software. Travel up to 25% is expected.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related field required

Responsabilités

• Complete electrical design deliverables with supervision using designated tools and software
• Review design standards to ensure alignment with company and industry standards
• Gain expertise in at least one design discipline with some cross-training
• Translate design concepts into deliverables
• Coordinate with project leaders to address design-related questions
• Collect and distribute information needed to complete design
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients and support workflow
• Gain practical experience with manufacturing or craft processes through field work
• Participate in internal technical training to grow design skills
• Function as the lead designer on simple projects
