Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the hardware design and delivery of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) cabinets and related electro-mechanical hardware. The role involves ensuring designs meet system and quality requirements while coordinating with manufacturing to resolve issues and stay aligned with build-to-print specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years engineering experience.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis/design.
• Awareness of field devices and control devices in power industry.
• Awareness of standard drawings: schematics, cabinet drawings, panel layouts.
• Experience in AutoCAD/3D Modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Issue drawings, BOMs, and technical specs for I&C Safety System products.
• Compile technical and quality documentation for procurement, testing and manufacturing.
• Develop changes to address obsolescence in electrical products.
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturing facilities to resolve issues.
• Support equipment qualification testing and review results.
• Provide engineering support to customers, suppliers, manufacturing and shop ops.
• Perform engineering calculations to support design/analysis.
• Build assignments within project schedule and budget.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of tasks.
