Job summary

Jabil seeks an Electrical Engineer I to contribute to the design, development, testing, and integration of electronic systems for defense and aerospace applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-quality products meeting mission requirements.

Responsibilities include prototype assembly, testing, validation, and engineering calculations. Candidates should have an associate degree in electrical engineering and be a US citizen due to contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to defense contract requirements.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation with accuracy.
• Experience with electronics testing and hardware development is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing electronic circuits and systems for aerospace/defense products.
• Support hardware development activities including prototype assembly, testing, and validation.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electronic hardware and PCBs.
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to verify performance and specs.
• Prepare documentation: design specs, test procedures, reports, and records.
