Job summary

EXPANSIA Group in Hollywood, MD is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support aerospace and defense programs, including aircraft system integration, schematic development, and PCB design. The engineer will contribute to both new and existing projects involving signal and power routing, cable design, aircraft schematic interpretation, and PCB development and testing.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
PCB development experience of 1 year or more.
Ability to obtain Secret clearance (active preferred).
Strong analog and digital design knowledge with signal/power requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop system-level electrical schematics for aircraft and ground systems.
Design and document cable fabrication drawings and wiring diagrams.
Interpret and generate aircraft electrical schematics and power distribution architectures.
Develop PCB designs from schematic capture through fabrication package (Gerbers, BOMs).
Conduct electrical integration and testing of prototypes and production systems.
Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to ensure full system integration.
