An established industry player is seeking a motivated electronics engineer to design and develop cutting-edge electronic systems. This role involves troubleshooting complex device issues, managing engineering documentation, and working collaboratively in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering and have hands-on experience with PCB design and schematic software. The position conceives, designs and prototypes electronic laser equipment and its associated circuits and systems. Activities include documentation, vendor management, prototyping, and transfer to manufacturing. This position requires troubleshooting complex electronic device problems and being committed to customer satisfaction. Although the location of the position is in Newton, NJ, from time to time it may be required to undertake duties at other Thorlabs locations.
