Job description

Quality Engineer I (open to hiring at higher levels)

This position involves working with Quality Engineering Services (QES) and Agile teams to provide quality engineering and testing activities, including executing system integration testing, designing and executing test cases, developing automation test scripts, and collaborating under the guidance of more experienced engineers to understand business requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's Degree or relevant work experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in developing and executing test cases, automation/performance testing, defect documentation, and issue resolution
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with HL7 FHIR, APIs, testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, Swagger
  • Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools, SDLC, Agile, automation frameworks, SQL/MongoDB queries, industry certifications
Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements, design, write, and execute test cases
  • Create and maintain test scenarios and scripts, ensure reusability and traceability
  • Identify test data needs, log defects, and support defect resolution
  • Incorporate test automation opportunities and support SDLC adherence
  • Support transformational efforts and perform other duties as assigned
