Job summary

Capybara Energy in Woburn, MA seeks an Electrical Engineer to own critical power systems from architecture through hands-on implementation and testing. You will design AC/DC power systems, BMS, and PCB hardware, and bring products from concept to deployment.

You should have 4+ years of full-time electrical engineering experience, PCB design and high-voltage system know-how, and familiarity with embedded systems and CAN/Modbus protocols. Equity and full benefits are offered.

• Experience with high-voltage/high-current systems.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, CAN, Modbus, or similar protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design AC/DC power systems, power conversion equipment, BMS, and PCB hardware.
• Create electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and production documentation.
• Develop high-voltage/high-current systems with safety and compliance in mind.
• Assemble, test, debug, and troubleshoot hardware.
• Work across disciplines to bring products from concept to deployment.
