Job summary

W3Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and support electrical systems for environmental test chambers in Holland, MI. You will collaborate across Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, Production, Test, Service, and Project Management to deliver safe, reliable solutions from design through manufacturing and installation.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver comfortable with both custom equipment and standard chamber designs, capable of moving between design tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with electrical design, controls, or industrial equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Experience using Inventor and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for custom and standard environmental test chambers.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, bills of material, and related engineering documentation.
• Select appropriate electrical components, including controls, sensors, relays, contactors, breakers, disconnects, transformers, motors, and other electrical devices.
• Design control panels and electrical systems while considering safety, functionality, reliability, cost, and ease of manufacturing.
• Review customer specifications and project requirements and translate them into practical electrical designs.
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting during assembly, testing, installation, and service.
