Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, seeks an Electrical Engineer to own board design for Thunder payloads and mission systems. You will lead the full lifecycle of custom, flight-critical PCBs that integrate sensors, comms, and processing hardware into the aircraft, from schematic capture to flight test.

Design robust digital and power electronics for harsh aerospace environments, work with mechanical, software, and systems teams, and contribute to hardware that powers the aircraft's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex hardware and embedded systems.
• Experience with multi‑gigabit SERDES, DDR, Ethernet MAC/PHY, FPGAs, SPI and I2C.
• Embedded Linux development and device tree knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design embedded electronics from concept to prototype, including hardware selection and PCB design.
• Board bring-up and system-level integration across hardware and software boundaries.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, and systems teams on hardware needs.
• Support flight tests and lab bring‑up for robust, flight-critical boards.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues using lab equipment and debugging tools.
