Job summary

Anduril Industries—Thunder team—seeks an Electrical Engineer to own the board design for next-generation payloads and mission systems. Lead the full lifecycle of custom, flight-critical PCBs, integrating sensors, communications gear, and processing hardware for aircraft.

You will design robust digital and power electronics, survive harsh aerospace environments, and work with mechanical, software, and systems teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex hardware and embedded systems.
• Experience with SERDES, DDR memory, Ethernet MAC/PHY, FPGAs, SPI/I2C.
• Experience with processor/microcontroller selection and interfacing.
• Schematic capture, high-speed board design, PCB layout guidance.
• Lab test equipment and automation for tests.

Responsibilities

• Design embedded electronics from concept to prototype, including hardware selection, schematic/PCB design, bring-up, integration.
• Troubleshoot across electrical/software boundaries using lab tools and debugging software.
• Work with SoCs and networking hardware for platform development.
• Collaborate with firmware/software teams for processor/peripheral selection and bring-up.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver functional hardware for the aircraft.
• Support fast-paced development, deployments, and fielded hardware.
