Job description

We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team on-site with a major client in Wilmington, MA. This role is hands-on and impact-driven: you will be optimizing electrical energy systems, leading industrial energy projects, and delivering measurable cost and carbon savings.

Job Responsibilities

Optimize Electrical Systems

  • Assess, monitor, and improve performance across Medium Voltage Distribution, Low Voltage (LV) Systems, utilities, and metering infrastructure.
  • Spot inefficiencies and engineer solutions that directly reduce energy use.

Deliver Projects

  • Lead small to medium-sized facilities projects from concept through commissioning.
  • Ensure projects meet client objectives, timelines, and budgets while driving tangible results.

Drive Energy Management

  • Design and implement energy-saving initiatives.
  • Evaluate renewable energy opportunities and integrate them into site operations.

Analyze & Report

  • Use metering and measurement tools to capture performance data.
  • Conduct energy analyses and report on KPIs to track savings and carbon reductions.

Collaborate & Influence

  • Work directly with client site teams, vendors, and contractors.
  • Provide technical guidance and build strong partnerships to deliver lasting improvements.
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering.
  • 2–5 years’ experience in Medium Voltage Distribution systems, Low Voltage (LV) systems, Utility Systems, and leading small to medium energy or electrical projects.
  • Knowledge of energy optimization principles and a track record of applying them in industrial or commercial settings.
  • Proficiency with energy monitoring tools and data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in carbon reduction or sustainability projects.
  • Familiarity with ISO 50001 or other energy management standards.
  • Knowledge of energy modeling tools or simulation software.
