LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, seeks an Electrical Engineer to support test, evaluation, and analysis of FAA Air Traffic Control Communication Systems at the Atlantic City facility.

The role emphasizes planning and executing operational test cases, developing procedures for IP, VoIP and analog signals, and supporting ED-137C VOIP audio and signaling conversions for FAA communications infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (computer or electrical) from an ABET-accredited program.
• Master’s degree may substitute for Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience.
• PhD may substitute for Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience.
• Experience with VoIP, IP networks, and testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise in the application of state-of-the-art technology to meet mission requirements.
• Plan and execute Operational Test Cases validating Operational Suitability of Air Traffic Control Communications Systems and evaluation of Air to Ground.
• Develops and executes procedures for measurement of IP, analog and discrete signals including IP to analog or discrete signal conversion delay and VoIP audio levels.
• Support testing for the Air-to-Ground and Ground-to-Ground Protocol Converters and related ED-137C VOIP signaling conversions.
