Job summary

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech company, seeks Field Technicians to support FAA NAS telecommunications upgrades and maintenance across the United States. Successful candidates will have hands-on experience with telecom systems, network installations, electrical work, and light construction in active environments.

Travel extensively to FAA sites nationwide is required, with FAA contractor experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of direct experience maintaining telecommunications and/or enterprise network systems.
• Experience with network topology, cabling infrastructure, jacks, and related installation practices.
• Working knowledge of telecommunications technologies, including multiplexers, analog and digital voice/data services, and IP theory.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Support FAA telecommunications programs related to the operation and maintenance of systems used in Air Traffic Control (ATC) operations.
• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot telecommunications infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, IP services, routers, modems, PBX/VoIP, and related systems.
• Perform technical site surveys, document site conditions, and assist in developing installation plans in coordination with FAA stakeholders.
• Support FAA telecommunications cutovers, restorations, service improvement activities, and trouble ticket resolution.
• Conduct light construction, trenching, grounding, and low-voltage electrical work in support of infrastructure upgrades.
• Install, align, and remove antennas and waveguide when required.
