Job summary

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking Field Technicians to support FAA NAS infrastructure across the Western United States. You will install, upgrade, and remove telecommunications equipment at FAA sites, with hands-on work on LAN/WAN, IP services, and related networks while coordinating with FAA staff.

The ideal candidate has substantial experience in telecommunications installation, light construction, and tower access.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years relevant experience or High School Diploma with 10+ years relevant experience.
Minimum 8 years of direct telecom and/or enterprise network maintenance experience.
Experience designing and installing network topology (cabling, jacks, etc.).
Travel requirement of 50–75% as stated.

Responsibilities

Support installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment including LAN/WAN, routers, and IP services.
Install, test, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks and Wi‑Fi in an operational environment.
Perform site surveys and document installation plans with FAA stakeholders.
Climb towers to install or remove antennas and waveguide as required.
Light electrical and construction work to support telecom upgrades.
Provide liaison with FAA lines of business and external customers.
