Job summary
Sigma Defense Systems LLC in White Sands NM is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at White Sands Missile Range. The role focuses on terrestrial EW and radar systems, with responsibilities spanning design, evaluation, troubleshooting, field support, and integration of advanced electronic equipment.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field (advanced degree preferred) and be a U.S.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of terrestrial EW and radar employment, capability, and technical limitations.
- Experience interpreting and/or developing technical drawings and work packages.
- Ability to use and interpret electronic test equipment.
- Experience with maintenance/repair and/or installation/integration of advanced technical equipment.
- Familiarity with radio frequencies (RF) equipment and operations.
Responsibilities
- Problem solving in a large real time complex EW system environment.
- Evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and develop complex system designs and architectures.
- Support field testing and training using DoW accredited EW Systems.
- Spectrum management in support of EW field operations.
- Analyze and develop Electronic Attack (EA) and Sensing (ES) techniques.
- Provide SME in installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, construction and operation of equipment per specs.
