Job summary
Sigma Defense seeks an Electrical Engineer to join our team at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The role focuses on real-time EW system problem solving, design evaluation, and field support across complex architectures. Candidate will work with DoD-standard procedures and contribute to installation, testing, and maintenance tasks.
Required are strong EW/radar knowledge, ability to interpret drawings, and proficiency with test equipment. U.S.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Advanced Degree in Engineering, Analysis, or related STEM field.
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong understanding of terrestrial EW and radar capabilities and limitations.
- Ability to interpret and develop technical drawings and work packages.
- Experience with electronic test equipment and field/maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, evaluate, repair, and develop complex EW system designs and architectures.
- Support field testing and training using EW systems.
- Manage spectrum in EW field operations.
- Analyze and develop EA and ES techniques.
- Provide SME engineering support for installation, maintenance, and testing of equipment.
