Job summary

Harmar Mobility seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and maintain electronics for mobility devices, including circuit boards and embedded systems. You will prototype, test, and qualify new concepts and work toward compliant, manufacturable products.

The role requires 4–5 years in electrical engineering and a Bachelor’s degree, with collaboration across teams, suppliers, and customers in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem solving and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years experience in an electrical engineering role.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• Experience in design team environments with customers, suppliers, and technical resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electronics for medical devices: definition, prototyping, testing, debugging, qualification and release to production of reliable and cost effective electronic solutions.
• Evaluate and optimize concepts for function, manufacturability, packaging and material handling.
• Generate prototypes, perform testing and ensure products meet specifications and timing objectives.
• Develop cost analyses for new/modified concepts from design to mass production; assist in bringing to mass production.
• Coordinate compliance testing and electrical safety requirements (FDA, CE, UL, NEC, FCC).
