Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer EIT/Coordinator to join our Denver, Colorado office and contribute to the design of critical electrical systems for healthcare, higher education, data centers, and industrial facilities.

You will perform detailed electrical design, work under senior engineers, and collaborate across disciplines, with some travel in the Colorado/Rocky Mountain region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration.
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering and design assignments under guidance of senior staff.
• Prepare electrical diagrams, cable/panel schedules, site plans and power/lighting plans.
• Contribute to field investigations, condition assessments, startup and commissioning activities.
• Work on projects primarily in the Colorado/Rocky Mountain area, with occasional travel.
