Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical Engineer EIT/Coordinator to join the Denver, Colorado office as part of the Building Engineering Services Group. You will perform electrical design tasks, prepare diagrams and schedules, and support instrumentation, controls, and commissioning on a variety of facilities.

Preferred candidates include those with an EIT, strong AutoCAD/Microsoft Office skills, and experience with Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power. Local candidates are favored for Colorado projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration.
• Active participant in an employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed electrical engineering and design assignments under mentorship.
• Prepare electrical diagrams, cable and panel schedules, site plans, and wiring diagrams.
• Edit project specifications and conduct field investigations and condition assessments.
• Assist in startup and commissioning of new or modified systems.
• Contribute to projects primarily in Colorado/Rocky Mountain area with occasional travel.
