Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical Engineer EIT/Coordinator in Denver, CO. You will perform electrical design and detailed calculations under supervision, preparing diagrams and cable/panel schedules for various facilities.

The role covers healthcare, higher education, renewable energy, and data centers with cross-training in automation. EIT is strongly preferred; travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration.
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering and design assignments under guidance of senior staff engineers.
• Prepare electrical diagrams, cable and panel schedules, and site plans.
• Assist in startup and commissioning of new and modified systems.
• Contribute to projects primarily in Colorado/Rocky Mountain area with occasional travel.
