Job summary

The Misch Group in Ohio is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer or Electrical Designer with 3+ years of experience to support growth. The position starts as electrical engineer/designer, with potential progression to project manager or project engineer.

Responsibilities include electrical design for commercial, office, retail, healthcare projects; drafting schematics; coordinating with disciplines; on-site surveys; familiarity with electrical codes; and developing specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical systems for commercial/building projects.
• Ability to prepare schematics and coordinate with multiple disciplines.
• Familiarity with current electrical codes and standards.
• Strong problem solving and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design for commercial, office, retail, healthcare, and other project types.
• Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipment selections.
• Preparation of schematics for various systems.
• Collaboration with all disciplines to achieve coordinated design and review others' work.
• Perform on-site investigations to confirm existing conditions.
• Develop familiarity with current electrical codes and standards.
• Build relationships with other discipline personnel and suppliers.
• Prepare general and electrical specifications.
