Orion Placement in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer/Designer to design electrical distribution, power, and lighting systems for commercial buildings. You will prepare drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and construction documentation, coordinating with architects, engineers, PMs, and clients to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements include 4+ years in electrical engineering or design, proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, MS Office, and familiarity with Ohio codes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in electrical engineering or design.
• Electrical systems and lighting design for commercial buildings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience preparing drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Familiarity with Ohio electrical codes and building design.
• PE license preferred but not required; MEP experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical distribution, power, and lighting for commercial buildings.
• Prepare drawings, specs, and cost estimates for projects.
• Coordinate electrical designs using AutoCAD and Revit.
