Orion Placement in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer/Designer to design electrical distribution, power, and lighting systems for commercial buildings. You will prepare drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and construction documentation, coordinating with architects, engineers, PMs, and clients to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements include 4+ years in electrical engineering or design, proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, MS Office, and familiarity with Ohio codes.

Note: Candidates must have 4+ years of electrical engineering or design experience, knowledge of commercial building electrical systems and lighting design, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit. An Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience preparing electrical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Familiarity with Ohio electrical codes and building design requirements.
• Consulting engineering or MEP design experience is highly desirable.
• Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
