Job summary

ADM in Clinton, IA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and improve electrical systems for operation, construction, manufacturing, or facility needs.

Responsibilities include preparing drawings, performing load studies, ensuring NEC/IEEE compliance, supporting installations and maintenance, coordinating with project teams, and documenting technical work. Travel to job sites may be required; a PE license or EIT is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with electrical design principles, power distribution, control systems and equipment.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, OSHA or related regs.
• Proficiency with engineering software and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evaluate electrical systems, components, equipment, and layouts.
• Prepare, review, and update electrical drawings and technical docs.
• Perform electrical calculations, load studies, circuit analysis, and system evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, vendors, and maintenance teams.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Travel to job sites as needed to provide engineering support and field evaluations.
