Job summary

ADM is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Clinton, IA to design, test and improve electrical systems for operational needs. You will support field installations, troubleshoot issues, review drawings, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include performing calculations, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and preparing technical reports. A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and strong analytical skills are required to ensure reliable, compliant electrical

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of electrical design principles, power distribution and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and specs.
Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, OSHA or similar standards.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and evaluate electrical systems and layouts.
Prepare and update electrical drawings, schematics, specs, and docs.
Perform calculations, load studies, circuit analysis, and evaluations.
Ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
Support installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Coordinate with managers, engineers, contractors, vendors, and maintenance staff.
Prepare reports, cost estimates, and project documentation.
Participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses.
