Job summary

H.F. Lenz Engineering in Johnstown, PA, is seeking an innovative Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. You will perform electrical design tasks including calculations, equipment selections, power distribution, lighting and security systems under engineers' guidance.

The role offers growth toward a PE license, requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, FE/EIT is preferred, and 4+ years of related experience. Occasional travel and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Architectural/ Electro-Mechanical with Electrical/Lighting focus.
• FE/EIT Certification is highly preferred.
• 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Revit and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical system design using AutoCAD/Revit software applications.
• Assist with lighting, power and signal calculations.
• Design and document lighting, power, security and telecom systems.
• Assist with power studies such as Arc Flash studies using SKM Power Tools.
• Travel to project sites to survey existing conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project team members.
• Work with clients, vendors and contractors on a limited basis.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
