Job summary

H.F. Lenz Engineering in Johnstown, PA seeks an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team and advance toward a PE license. You will contribute to electrical system design and lead design processes under a Professional Engineer.

Responsibilities include AutoCAD/Revit design, electrical load calculations, equipment sizing, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on projects across the United States. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with a concentration in Electrical/Lighting.
• FE/EIT Certification is highly preferred.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Experience with 3D modeling and Revit software platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook/Teams/Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical system design and calculations under supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Size and select electrical equipment; design power, lighting, security, and telecom systems.
• Conduct Arc Flash studies and surveys; travel to project sites as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project team members and clients.
