Job summary

H.F. Lenz Engineering in Conneaut, OH seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the growing team and perform electrical design tasks, including calculations, equipment selections, power distribution, lighting and security systems.

You'll work under a Professional Engineer, with growth opportunities toward a PE license and an emphasis on delivering high-quality client service in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with a concentration in Electrical/Lighting.
• FE/EIT Certification is highly preferred.
• 0-5 years of experience in electrical design or combination of training and experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Revit software platforms.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical system design using AutoCAD/Revit software applications.
• Assist with lighting, power and signal calculations.
• Design and document lighting, power, security and telecom systems.
• Assist with power studies such as Arc Flash studies using SKM Power Tools.
• Travel to project sites to survey existing conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project team members.
• Work with clients, vendors and contractors on a limited basis.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
