Job summary

H.F. Lenz Engineering is seeking an innovative Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Johnstown, PA. You will perform electrical design tasks including calculations, equipment selection, power distribution, lighting and security systems.

Under supervision of Professional Engineers, you will gain experience toward a PE license with growth opportunities across building systems projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field (Electrical/Lighting or Electro-Mechanical).
• FE/EIT certification is highly preferred.
• 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Revit and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical system design using AutoCAD/Revit software applications.
• Assist with lighting, power and signal calculations.
• Design and document lighting, power, security and telecom systems.
• Assist with power studies such as Arc Flash studies using SKM Power Tools.
• Travel to project sites to survey existing conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project team members.
• Work with clients, vendors and contractors as needed.
