Job summary

Eppstein Uhen Architects Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and document electrical systems for building projects in Atlanta.

The role involves energy and lighting analysis, cost estimates, and collaboration with project teams; a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of facility design experience, and proficiency in Revit and electrical tools are required. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five years of experience in facility design.
• Experience in power distribution, lighting design, communication systems, lighting photometric calculations, and existing building assessments/reports.
• Prior experience leading the electrical design of commercial building projects from concept to completion.
• Professional license is preferred.
• Must be proficient in Revit, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), and specialized electrical engineering software (e.g. SKM, Easy Power, ElumTools).
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Electrical planning, designing, engineering and construction document production.
• Project estimates and energy/lighting analyses.
• Existing system condition assessments and emergency/standby generation design.
• Collaborate with clients, partners and team members; present to clients.
