Job summary

Eppstein Uhen Architects is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical planning, design, and construction document production for commercial facilities in a dynamic team setting.

The role requires five years of facility design experience, proficiency in Revit and electrical engineering software, and strong communication with clients and staff. Occasional travel and field work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum five years of facility design experience.
• Experience in power distribution, lighting design, communication systems, and building assessments/reports.
• Lead electrical design of commercial building projects from concept to completion.
• Professional license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of codes, regulations, materials, and methods to all projects and manage construction document sequencing.
• Manage multiple projects end-to-end from design basis to submittals.
• Lead electrical planning, design, and construction document production for lighting and power systems.
• Provide energy and lighting analyses and cost/benefit assessments.
• Coordinate with clients, partners, and team members; travel as needed.
